About the artwork
Sea of sand in the Sahara desert. The desert is my favourite place. The landscape is much more varied than you would expect. Nature is beautiful. My favourite desert is the Sahara. It is incredibly large, about the size of the United States. This photo was taken in Mauritania. A large country in the west of Africa, south of Morocco. There you have large areas where you can get delightfully lost through the sand dunes. Infinite batches of dunes formed by the wind. Lovely to walk through them. Barely any people around and enjoying the emptiness and silence. Alone with the desert. The sand dunes change colour throughout the day. The dunes walk through the desert. They move slowly.
