About ‘Sea lock at Edam’ by Chris Snoek

Edam Luis, also Sea lock Edam is a monumental dike between oortgat and Markermeer in the North Holland Edam place. At the place where once the sluice, the sea lock was built, originally with five sets of doors which were all operated by hand. Also from that time (1829) dates the striking lock-keepers house.
