This morning I made it easy for myself, I go for a classic image of the Isle of Skye in Scotland: the Sgurr Nan Gilean (mountain) with the Allt Dearg Mor (river) near Sligachan as a foreground. Surprisingly how little water there was in the river after 2 full days with rain. Once arrived I quietly took my stuff and saw some clouds accumulating at the mountain tops, nice! But the moment I place my tripod with a camera in the water, the polarization filter of the lens falls ... WHAAAT !? NO ... Slowly I saw it sink to the bottom and without thinking I rolled up the sleeves and trouser legs and ran into the cold water with bare feet. Pffiew, no scratches, quickly dried with one of the many cleaning cloths that I had brought especially for this photo trip. I continued with adrenaline and had a great moment. Unfortunately with much less clouds at the mountain tops (what a difference in a few minutes).
