I saw this Scottish Highlander in Huis ter Heide nature reserve (in North Brabant, between Tilburg and Loon op Zand). Of course I kept enough distance between me and the animals, but they were grazing so calmly that they slowly took a few steps closer to me. That allowed me to make this beautiful image of the grazing highlander. It is grazing leisurely - as Scottish highlanders are wont to do - in a field of grass full of yellow flowers. The setting sun just adds a glow to the trees behind him.
This work with earthy colours fits perfectly in a rural home. Or add a slice of Dutch nature to modern interiors.
