The "Glasfabriek" in Schiedam was a major producer of glass packaging, established in 1899 on one of the city's oldest industrial estates. The factory was best known as a location for the production of billions of glass containers for the food and beverage industry. Glass production at this historic site ceased in 2017. This photo is in contrasting black and white. It appealed to me that in this photo you can see different mathematical shapes, square, circle and triangle. You can see the shapes in window, door and stairs and facade stone.
The site of the closed Glass Factory is being developed for new construction, but some monumental parts of the factory complex will be preserved.
