Scheveningen is a district of the South Holland city of The Hague. Not only known from the pier but also by the Kurhaus and as a fishing place and bath place.
The pier is a well-known building and dates back to the 1960s. The original pier was built in 1901. After the pier was closed to the public in 2013, it was reopened in the summer of 2015
