a young girl stands on the street in town near flowers and holds a flower.

The figure is the essential part of the painting, while the patio is the background that surrounds it and helps to bring out the beauty of the girl, who seems to be unaware of the painter's presence. The colours are vivid and bright and the girl smells, captivated, the scent of a carnation.

This is one of the most beautiful portraits Rusiñol has painted throughout his life, and although it was exhibited three times, the author decided to keep it for his private collection.

Santiago Rusiňol i Prats (Barcelona, 25 February 1861 - Aranjuez, 13 June 1931) was a Catalan painter, dramaturge, writer and journalist. He mainly painted street scenes, interiors of cafes, rooms and courtyards.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
