About ‘Sand dunes in the Empty Quarter’ by The Book of Wandering

The highest dunes in the world can be found on the Arabian peninsula. I took this picture deep in the desert they call The Empty Quarter. Early in the morning I climbed up one of the high sand dunes. The unique, almost pyramid-shaped dunes stretched out to the horizon.
