Moddergat is a photogenic piece of the Wadden Sea on the Frisian coast where you can be treated to a special light. Moreover, the coastline is full of stones, rocks and shells in all kinds of patterns. A beautiful and unique piece of nature and that 'just' in the Netherlands.
While I was taking pictures here, I noticed that many locals take a walk at the end of the afternoon. And why not? It is very restful. So too for this man who decided to let his dog out at dusk.
Because of the man in the distance at the horizon, the photo gets a lot of sense of scale and depth, which you might otherwise miss because of the flat landscape.
