Back view of model Sara on the salt marshes of the Kwade Hoek Goeree Overflakkee.
The low floodlight beautifully models the model's shapes.
The model has two tattoos on her shoulder blades. They are bats. I was not allowed to remove these on pain of being prohibited from exhibiting/publishing the photograph.
The photograph exudes tranquility and stateliness. The pose of the model determines the mood of the photo.
The intention of the photo was to make optimal use of the late October light, which results in a beautiful atmospheric photo, in which I deliberately placed the model asymmetrically to the left of the image, which increases the power of the photo.
The viewer should be impressed by the model's strength, which is enhanced by the model tiptoeing, making her even taller than she already is, also I make use of the model's beautiful buttocks, which serve as eye catchers. This produces a photo that attracts attention, the nudity of the model is actually secondary, the power of the image is derived from the use of shades of gray. The photo can be used anywhere, preferably in a convivial setting, and may safely be hung very large on the wall.
I deliberately chose a black and white approach, as this increases the power of the photograph. The photo was originally in color, the colors were converted to black and white in Photoshop.
If you like nature, combined with a nude figure, this is a photo for you.
