Günther Henry Schulze was born in 1952 in Neustadt in Saxony.
In the 70s he came to photography.
Influenced and trained by his artist friend Reiner Siegert, he took his first steps with large format photography.
During meetings and exchanges with Bernd Hahn, painter and graphic artist in Dresden, he received inspiration for formal image design.
Since 1984 Schulze has lived in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance in southern Germany.
