Reproduction of digital acrylic painting depicting a mysterious nude woman wearing a red hooded cloak emerging from dusk. The mystery is enhanced by the fact that you can see neither face nor limbs.
This work was inspired by the biblical story of Salome, the daughter of Herodias. Salome brought about the death of John the Baptist by asking for John the Baptist's head as a reward for her sensual dancing. This sculpture represents the moment when she enters the room, just before dancing.
