About the artwork

When I went to the blossoming Blossom Forest, I was immediately so overwhelmed by the delicate beauty of the Japanese Cherry Blossom (Sakura) that I had to absorb it for a few minutes before taking a step further. What struck me was that the thousands of individual, delicate, Sakura blossoms together formed a soft, almost woolly blanket over the surroundings. All the blossoms started at about the same height, so the pale pink/white flowers formed a sound-dampening blanket in the forest. They set the mood of the forest, giving it a fairy-tale feel. It touched me deeply, leaving me in silent awe.

I decided I wanted to capture this feeling in my photographs. Meanwhile, I couldn't keep the smile off my face.

In this photo, I was keen to capture the bunches of blossoms decorating the trees like little bouquets. I had never seen this in blossoms before, and thought this was a very special feature of these Sakura trees.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
