About the artwork

The Sint Servaas Bridge, called Maasbrug until 1932 and popularly old bridge (Maastricht: aw brögk), is an originally 13th-century stone arch bridge over the river Maas in the Dutch city of Maastricht. The bridge is named after the 4th-century bishop of Maastricht, Saint Servaas, but did not receive its current name until 1932; before that it was simply "the bridge," officially Maasbrug. The Sint Servaas Bridge is considered the oldest bridge in the Netherlands and an icon of the city of Maastricht. The structure is a national monument.

Maastricht is where the roots of my ancestors lie. I love to come here to photograph, to paint and to experience the joye de vivre just walking around. Maastricht flows through my veins like Mother Maas through the Limburg capital. The Saint Servatius bridge remains a grateful and dear subject within my extensive Maastricht oeuvre. This print is a detail from one of my smaller paintings.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
