Sail Amsterdam / IJmuiden sail out 2025 at sunset

For 3 days, I had a great time at various locations during Sail Amsterdam 2025 edition.
I shot more than 400 high-quality photos's of this event. The very best photo's were the very last 5 on the digital roll. Had to wait a long time to take this photo on the pier of IJmuiden during the sail out. Already 10 times we were about to go home..but no...still waiting for the left tall ship to come into the light path of the setting sun. Fortunately, I had my 200-600 mm telephoto lens with me and by zooming in to the maximum I was able to leave other distracting elements out of the picture. Everything fell together perfectly in this very last photo of Sail Amsterdam. 3 tall ships separate from each other during a golden moment at sunset. I jumped for joy, so happy was I to take this successful and unique photo! This life-size photo now hangs outside in our garden on the wall and we can enjoy this wonderful event for years to come.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
