Run until the Light Disappears by Friso Creates

In the soft light of the summer evening, children run through tall, golden grass, as if time has no grip on them for a moment. Their bodies blur in motion; faces are barely discernible, but their energy is palpable everywhere. This is not a captured moment, but a memory in the making. The grass bends with them, catches the light and seems to become part of the game itself.

The sun is low, colouring everything warm and dusty, as if the world is briefly viewed through an old film reel. Motion blur enhances the sense of speed and freedom - nothing stands still, everything is on the move. The children are anonymous, universal, and therefore recognisable. It could have been anywhere, on any summer day that seemed endless.

The image exudes a coming-of-age feeling: the innocence of youth, being together for no reason, running for the sake of running itself. No screens, no clock, just movement and light. At the same time, melancholy lurks beneath the warmth. This moment is fleeting; it already knows it will exist later as a memory.

The photograph invites you to return for a moment to that feeling of long evenings, dusty knees and the belief that summer would never end. An ode to impermanence, captured in light and movement.
