About the artwork

The rock formations off the coast of Ribeira da Janela are a sight to behold and this photo captures their beauty perfectly. The photo was taken from a low angle which further emphasises the scale of these magnificent geological structures. The long shutter speed allows you to see the movement of the clouds in the sky and the waves washing up on the beach. This creates a dynamic atmosphere and adds extra depth to the photo.

I used some editing techniques that give the photo a painterly effect, highlighting the rugged shape and structure of the rocks. I chose earthy orange and brown tones for the rocks that contrast nicely with the cyan-blue in the sky.

This print is perfect for anyone who loves nature and wants to bring a piece of it into their home or office.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
