The organ in Hasselt is characterized by a solid ground note, loud reeds and brilliant filler voices. Although the organ greenhouse was modern for that time (1802), the disposition of the organ was by no means. The many voices, and especially the Cimbel and Noise pipe, clearly point back to the organ of Norden who Knol knew well from his childhood. The pipes in the side of the Rugwerk greenhouse also point back to Arp Schnitger.
