About "Royal stables of Dresden"

About the artwork

Dresden is a beautiful city in the east of Germany. The city on the Elbe was also called the Florence of Germany. The city with all its beautiful buildings was completely destroyed in the second world war. The ruins of the war disappeared behind the Iron Curtain and the decay of the city became worse and worse. After the unification in 1990 Dresden slowly recovered and the buildings were restored. Now the city is almost completely restored to its former glory. Especially the old centre is beautiful to see. On this picture you see the royal stables with the palace behind it. Nowadays the royal stables are more or less an 'ordinary' passage that you can visit for free. But you must have seen them for a while. The stables and the huge space around them were built in the 16th century behind the palace, because they turned out to be perfect for horse races and jumping competitions. In the 18th century the stables were completely rebuilt in baroque style and they are definitely worth a visit.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
