Roses are always a wonderful gift for me and so I was very excited when this bunch was donated. Now it has been standing for over 4 weeks and I wanted to capture it in a photo, because rarely have I seen a bunch of roses stay good for so long. She comes from a specialist grower and it really shows. The pastel colours are very nice and the roses have opened up very nicely.
The photo was taken with the Canon EOS R with telephoto lens of 100-400 mm and the settings are: f/8, 1/50 sec, ISO-600 and 190 mm.
The result was created by merging 3 photos'in camera, giving the already lush flowers an even fuller picture. While the flowers are on the windowsill, I placed a black screen behind them, to avoid "false" light. This also makes them stand nicely free in the space of the photo.
I think this photo could stand out in any interior, as the doubling of the flower petal always creates a new image.
