Roermond is a city in the province of Limburg, and the seat of the diocese of Roermond. The center of the city lies on the narrow river 'Roer', which flows into the Meuse further downstream. On the picture we see the skyline of the city along the Roerkade with the tower of St. Christopher's Cathedral.
