About "Robin on a branch"

About the artwork

A robin on a branch. I rarely see Robins, cityfolk like me usually see coots, magpies, sparrows and to a lesser extent herons and cormorants. I found this robin during a walk in the woods near Egmond and Bergen, in the dunes of North Holland. He kept sitting and watching, even when I aimed my camera. I did have a zoom lens clicked on though so as not to scare him away too quickly.
A robin is a small songbird of about 14 centimeters and is common in large parts of Europe. It is predominantly brownish gray in color, and can be identified by a brown to bright orange beard and throat, continuing to just above the bill. Found in gardens, parks and forests, and in winter more commonly in the city. Sings often and starts singing early, even before sunrise. At danger he calls "Chick, chick", but this one was silent. Apparently, I and the group that was there were not dangerous to him. The breeding season is from April into July.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
