Photo of a stream in Drenthe during a misty morning, with frost. The small river is the Westerborkerstroom. The Westerborkerstroom flows past the village of Westerbork. Fed by water from the Elperstroom and other sources, it winds its way through the landscape. Staasbosbeheer owns this area. In the foreground you can see a fence. And further away is a small grove of trees by the water. In the sky, you can see clouds and the sun slumbering through them. The mist lingers for a while and colours beautifully through the sun.
Near Westerbork, the little river is called the Westerborker stroom and then before Beilen it is named Beilerstroom. Near Dwingeloo, the name Dwingelerstroom is used.
The photo was taken in November 2023.
