I took this photo in Bali. A group of women are manually harvesting rice. With the scythe, they cut the stalks with rice grains and then the grains are beaten out of the plant (threshing). The grains are then sieved so that no chaff remains with the rice and and then the rice is packed into bags.
A labour-intensive job. I thought it was a beautiful and colourful scene.
