The rhino comes running straight towards us. The large head with the impressive, pointed horns sways back and forth. The rhino's eyes are only small in proportion. The ears on top of the rhino's head poke curiously in all directions. The skin of this rhino is wrinkled, grey and brown. You can see the grooves in the horn. It is a white rhino that you can recognise by the straight, wide lower lip. The background of this rhino photo has been blackened so that the two pointed horns stand out sharply and the rhino looms out of the dark just as it loomed out of the bush in the bush. This photo was taken at the Waterberg in Namibia, a private game reserve with five rhinos that you can search for on foot or by car. You can then get very close to the rhinos!
