About "Rheinstein Castle"

About the artwork

Rheinstein Castle near Bingen on the Rhine. This castle is now privately owned and open to visitors. The owners use the entrance fees to restore and maintain the castle. In 1816, the ruins of the castle caught the eye of the Prussian architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel - the Rhine province had been placed under Prussia a year earlier by the Congress of Vienna. The latter drew up plans for the romanticised reconstruction of the castle, which prompted Prince Frederick of Prussia to purchase it in 1823. It was thus the first of the ruined or destroyed Rhine castles to be rebuilt. In 1863, Prince George of Prussia inherited the castle. Prince Frederick of Prussia was buried in the crypt of the chapel in 1863, his wife Princess Luise in 1882 and their joint son Prince Georg in 1902. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
