Reitdiephaven is a colourful and modern harbour district in the northwest of the city of Groningen. Located on the Reitdiep, it is best known for its brightly coloured waterfront houses, reminiscent of Scandinavian or Caribbean architectural styles.
The district was created as part of a larger urban expansion and uniquely combines housing, recreation and amenities. The first houses were built in the early 2000s, and since then it has become a popular residential and tourist location.
