Reflections of Parliament: The Hague in the Blue Hour

by Bart Ros

Discover the serene beauty of Parliament in The Hague, captured during the enchanting blue hour. This photo shows the iconic building illuminated against the evening sky, with its beautiful reflections in the water, creating an atmosphere of serenity and grandeur.

As evening falls and the sky shrouds itself in a deep blue hue, the contours of the parliament are enhanced by the artificial lighting. The water in front of the building acts as a mirror, in which the lights and architecture form a double image. These reflections add an extra dimension to the scene, giving it an almost picturesque quality.

As a photographer with a passion for capturing urban landscapes during the blue hour, I am always looking for those moments when natural and artificial light merge to create a unique atmosphere. The parliament in The Hague, with its imposing architecture and reflecting waters, provides a perfect setting for this kind of photography.
