About ‘Reflection of the Revolution – Lisbon in Black and White’ by Carpe Diem

This black-and-white photograph shows the monument commemorating the Carnation Revolution of 25 April 1974 in Lisbon. Artist João Cutileiro's powerful, marble sculpture is flawlessly reflected in the still waters of Parque Eduardo VII. A minimalist yet meaningful sculpture that stands for freedom, remembrance and the power of change.

Captured in the heart of Lisbon, this impressive sculpture depicts the "Evocação do 25 de Abril de 1974", the marble monument that sits at the top of the iconic Parque Eduardo VII.
