About ‘Reeuwijk Plassen’ by Marc Broekman Photography
The Reeuwijk lakes are thirteen lakes between Bodegraven and Gouda, east of the village of Reeuwijk. They are separated by narrow roads. The lakes all have a rectangular shape, in which the former parcelling of the peat bogs from the time of the 'Great Reclamation' can still be recognised. The total area is about 735 hectares.

My name is Marc Broekman
Born in 1984, raised and living in Huizen, North Holland
Photography has been keeping me happily busy on a daily basis since 2013. I then started working with the compact Canon Luxus. Since then, I have continued to explore the world of photography and now since a year I have switched to a DSLR Canon 70D camera and use a 5d mark III.
Landscape photography appealed to me immensely right from the start.
