About "Reed plumes in the wind"

About the artwork

On this windy 29th December 2023, on the threshold of the old to the new year, the water in the Dutch rivers is alarmingly high.
The floodplains of the Lek near Culemborg are almost our backyard. A beautiful natural area, where we do a lot of walking. Where you can normally walk, there is now nothing but water.
What strikes me then is how nature holds its own in all this violence. In the background, you can see how the water is moving, through the ripples. Even the reeds sway with the wind.
We were standing on the dyke with our dog and it occurred to me that in the 20 years we have lived here, I have only experienced the water standing this high once before.
The photo captures the vibrant energy of the moment, where the reed plumes embrace the dynamics of natural forces. Although the Lek is almost invisible, its influence is palpable in the surroundings, making this image a subtle tribute to the interaction between land and water.
This is a moment of simple beauty, in which the reed plumes, bent under the influence of the wind, tell a story of resilience and adaptation.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
