Red fly agaric among forest fern with yellow autumn coloration

by Fotografiecor .nl

As a photographer, I seek out that one moment when the forest reveals its secrets. To me, the ‘first emergence’ of this mushroom symbolises the power of the autumn cycle. By making use of natural light and the rich colour nuances of the moss and ferns, I try to make the tranquil dynamism of this moment tangible to the viewer.

This piece serves as a powerful, warm accent in a modern-minimalist or Scandinavian interior. The colour contrast works exceptionally well in spaces that require a natural, soothing atmosphere. I recommend a print on fine-art matt paper; this material subtly absorbs light, ensuring that the depth of the dark forest floor and the rich red tones are preserved to the full.
