About ‘Red Monument’ by Steve Henderson

The Valley of the Gods in Utah, USA, is a place of big rocks -- massive structures created and sculpted by nature over how many years? We do not really know.

But we don't have to know in order to be impressed by the imposing size and majesty of the many formations scattered throughout the valley.

The artwork, Red Monument, invites us to step to the banks of a small pond (it seems disrespectful to refer to it as a puddle) and listen to the stillness, the silence of the landscape.

The water itself is still, reflecting the image of the cliff rock that towers over it. And on this particular day, there is no breeze, so the trees and bushes of the area are quiet themselves.

How often do we find ourselves in a place of such intense silence and timelessness?

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
