About ‘Just the Two of Us’ by Steve Henderson

It was a moment of perfection in an evening that could be described in no other way but divine.

Dance after dance they held one another close, looked deep into each other's eyes, said not a single word aloud because each spoke volumes without a word.

The music played, one song after another, and while some couples listen for "their" song, they didn't care to limit themselves to one melody, to reduce their memories of that magical evening to just one harmonious strain.

Lights glittered from the chandeliers overhead, casting reflection upon the smooth marble floor, over which they glided -- elegantly, like elves, their feet feeling as if they floated over the surface and didn't touch the floor at all.
