About ‘Reading girl, Jean-Honoré Fragonard’ by Peter Bartelings

Digital adaptation of the painting Reading Girl, produced by French painterJean-Honoré Fragonard around 1769. To this adaptation, the height has been adjusted and a hanging light has been hung in. Moreover, the girl is now looking in the other direction. Art with a wink! The original work hangs in the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. The reproduction was also shown in VT Wonen.

About image maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and bred Amsterdammer I feel -also as a photographer and image maker at FotoAmsterdam.com- closely connected to the city of Amsterdam. Besides the Amsterdam collection there is also work from other cities in the Netherlands, like Haarlem, Groningen, Zwolle, Leiden, Delft etc. In addition, a lot of work has also been made in France and Germany.
