Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Racemose Doto nudibranch, Tulamben, Bali (Indonesia)’ by Aniek Stevense

The Racemose Doto is a small brown nudibranch, about 1 cm long, found on hydroid colonies. It stores stinging cells from its prey for defense and can sometimes absorb photosynthetic algae, allowing it to gain part of its energy from sunlight.
