About ‘Candy crab, Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia’ by Aniek Stevense

The pink/white Candy Crab (Hoplophrys oatesi) is a small crab, about 2–3 cm long, found in coral reefs of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Its pink, purple, and white coloration provides excellent camouflage among soft corals, helping it stay hidden from predators.
