Münzenberg is a special district of Quedlinburg. On the hill of the same name in the south-east of the old town, about 65 half-timbered houses have been built, most of which are two-storey. Münzenberg Quedlinburg is an excursion destination worth seeing for all guests of the town, because from here you have an excellent view over the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage town. When the weather is fine, guests of the Harz town can look far into the Harz foothills from Münzenberg. But not only half-timbered houses can be discovered on Münzenberg - there is also a former monastery church in the eastern part of Münzenberg, which is enclosed by a block of houses in a rectangular shape.
