About the artwork

Discover the mystical beauty of the Ulun Danu Bratan, a Balinese Pura that nestles majestically on the shores of Lake Bratan in northwest Bali. This ancient Hindu temple is a tribute to Dewi Danu, the goddess of water, lakes and rivers, and plays a crucial role in the irrigation of the surrounding area. The temple looks so sophisticated and is surrounded by colourful flowers.

Built in 1633, the complex stretches over picturesque islets and is crowned by the imposing Meru, with 11 roofs dedicated to Shiva and Parvati. Inside, the presence of Buddha is also honoured as an incarnation of Vishnoe, reflecting the diversity and harmony of Hindu tradition.

Lake Bratan, hailed as the "sacred mountain lake", provides an enchanting backdrop to this spiritual oasis. At an altitude of 1,200 metres, you will enjoy a refreshingly cool climate amidst lush fertility. Be enchanted by the timeless splendour of this sacred place, where spirituality and natural beauty come together in perfect harmony.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
