About the artwork

This impressive door belongs to the Catedral de la Encarnación in Málaga, Spain; it is huge with an awful lot of details such as the many pilasters, pediments and sculptures. Despite all this splendour, this door is only one less well-known than, say, the main entrance or the cathedral's unfinished towers.

The puerta del sol or sun gate is on the south side of the cathedral and is therefore in the sun most of the day. A narrow alley runs along it and almost no room for a photographer to get a good shot of the whole artwork. By means of merging several photos's in post-processing, I still managed to take the photo I wanted.

Málaga is a city that has many different architectural styles and this church alone represents the Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque styles. It was built between the 14th and 16th centuries but unfortunately never finished.

The Catedral de la Encarnaciónis a Catholic cathedral in Spanish Andalusia on the Costa del Sol and a rewarding object for travel photography. I found it a surprisingly beautiful cathedral, similar to France's Notre Dame or Cologne Cathedral in Germany.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
