In the summer of 2019 I was inspired by flowers. My house turned into a sea of flowers. Beautiful, new material for me; also very challenging, because as a photographer you have to adapt to the life cycle of every flower. I strolled through markets, looking for the most beautiful flowers, composed bouquets and painted the background canvases myself, drawing inspiration from mystical skies.
In terms of lighting, I made use of natural daylight, just as Rembrandt did in the 17th century.
