About "Project #RGBMetTulp2023"

About the artwork

RGB stands for RijkGevuldBloemstilleven (RichlyFilledFlowerstilllife). The basis of the ninth project is my photograph of a brown bottle from my mother's household effects. The bottle stood on our rusty work table outside. The background of the photo was our green yard. Editing in Photoshop gave me a background consisting of green squares. The rusty table became a foreground with waves.
I filled this base with tulip photos that flooded into the 2023 FB tulip group from enthusiasts and myself. Every year it's a little sunshine in everyday reality, a moment of colour when a tulip bouquet appears in the FB group. For me, building the Still Life is hard work, but at the same time something that makes me happy. You can see roughly how that build-up works in a YouTube video on my channel (see link in bio). To conclude this #9RGBWithTulip, I will have postcards printed, just like the other years. Every participant in this project will receive a postcard. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
