RGB stands for RijkGevuldBloemstilleven (RichlyFilledFlowerstilllife). The basis of the ninth project is my photograph of a brown bottle from my mother's household effects. The bottle stood on our rusty work table outside. The background of the photo was our green yard. Editing in Photoshop gave me a background consisting of green squares. The rusty table became a foreground with waves.
I filled this base with tulip photos that flooded into the 2023 FB tulip group from enthusiasts and myself. Every year it's a little sunshine in everyday reality, a moment of colour when a tulip bouquet appears in the FB group. For me, building the Still Life is hard work, but at the same time something that makes me happy. You can see roughly how that build-up works in a YouTube video on my channel (see link in bio). To conclude this #9RGBWithTulip, I will have postcards printed, just like the other years. Every participant in this project will receive a postcard.
