About ‘Project #RGBMetTulp2021’ by Susan Hol

RGB stands for RijkGevuldBloemstilleven (RichlyFilledFlowerstilllife). In this tulip project, I used my own bald head as a canvas. Due to the autoimmune disorder Alopecia I lost all my (wild) hair, a great opportunity to turn this disadvantage into an advantage. In a windless sunny corner of our house in France, I made a self-portrait. In the background you can see one of our fantastic natural stone walls (although you have to do something for it, namely maintenance like chipping joints and refilling with fresh mortar, but then you have something). I filled the unusual canvas with tulip photos that poured into the FB tulip group in 2021 from tuliplovers and myself. It's a little sunshine in the daily reality every year, a moment of color when a tulip bouquet appears in the FB group. For me, building up the Still life is hard work, but at the same time something that makes me happy. You can see more or less how that build is done in a YouTube video on my channel (see link in bio). To conclude this #7RGBMetTulp, I am having postcards printed, just like the other years. Each participant in this project will receive a postcard. Do you also want one or more postcards from this project? Let me know, for one euro each I will send them to you (no postage costs).

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
