About ‘Project Noonlight – Dandelion Field’ by Olga Don Photography

This is one of the works from the Noonlight series: a field of dandelions in a warm, almost ochre hue, captured in the midday light.

The image of the fluffy heads balances between sharpness and blurring, creating a dreamlike layering with subtle lines of shadow.

The inspiration for this work came from a moment of stillness in nature, during which I sought out beautiful light and simplicity. The colour is not merely an aesthetic choice, but also a reflection of warmth and the transience of the flowers in their final stage of bloom.

The atmosphere is warm, soft and tranquil. With this work, I aim to evoke a sense of slowing down and paying attention to the small, everyday things. It is about letting go and, at the same time, about the beauty of fragility.

The image was created by working with natural backlighting and deliberate underexposure, which deepens the colours and makes the forms almost graphic. In the post-processing, a balance was sought between realism and painterly abstraction.

In an interior, this work brings tranquillity and warmth. It suits people who love natural materials, earth tones and a serene atmosphere, and who find beauty in simplicity and transience.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
