About "Preikestolen Lysefjord"

About the artwork

During the round trip from Germany to Norway came an excursion to the Preikestolen.
My first climb. Together with a small group, I begin this climbing adventure.

We leave early from the boat. We have to be ready at 5 o'clock. Once we arrive, we start our way up. The path starts right up but is good and wide. The further we get, the path becomes narrower and rockier. We regularly encounter small waterfalls. Along the way, we chat and take lots of pictures.

The route is nice and well passable as far as we are concerned. Even if you are a novice hiker, this route is easy to do, although you may have to take your steps a little more slowly. It is important to wear sturdy shoes with good grip, for example mountain boots or trail running shoes.

The higher we get, the more nice things we see. A beautiful little lake, for example. When we reach the top of the climb, the road flattens out a bit and you end up on a plateau. This is not yet the Preikestolen itself, but it is a beautiful place. I love magical places like this where the rock has won out over all vegetation, but still looks friendly. After just over two hours of leisurely climbing, we arrive at the viewpoint we were going for today. The steep rock that rises no less than 600 metres above the waters of the Lysefjord.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
