The springbok (an antelope) is in the desert of Etosha National Park in Namibia. The landscape consists of barren yellow grass and sand. A few sharp blades of grass can be seen in the foreground.
The sky is bright blue, a little misty from the dust.
The buck has beautiful, sharp horns with a ribbing pattern. Its head is white with a brown stripe from the nose over the eye. The neck is light brown. It is the national animal of South Africa. The rugby team is also called the Springboks.
I took the picture during one of my safari trips in Africa.
