With some effort, you can make out the eyes on this young lady. I shot this picture of this Highland cow at the Doldersummerveld in Drenthe. She had been strolling around me for a while, she was certainly not afraid. As ferocious as the animal looks, she behaves so calmly. Because she stood looking at me at ease for a while, it was possible to make a portrait photo like this from close by. A herd of these animals is quite approachable. Except when there are calves, then keep an appropriate distance. Both mother and father can then be somewhat unpredictable. Hang this lady on the wall and your room immediately gets a robust, warm and peaceful atmosphere simultaneously. He does well with natural tones and materials such as furs and hides. It is also perfect for an industrial interior or a business environment.
