Portrait of Maffia the raven by TheXclusive Art

This ‘Mafia Raven’ portrait painting depicts a bird that hardly needs to play this role. The raven wears a dark fedora and a smart suit, and emerges from a blackness that blends seamlessly into its own plumage. Only the sheen on its head and its sharp beak reveal where the bird ends and the darkness begins.

Of all animals, the raven is perhaps the most obvious gangster, and that is precisely what makes this portrait so convincing. Its eye gleams brightly and alertly in the sparse light, whilst the heavy beak lends it an air of inflexibility. The feathers catch subtle blue and purple reflections, giving the deep black just enough depth to lift it out of the background. The suit and hat add a layer of calculated sophistication, as if he’s dressed up neatly for something you’d rather not be part of. The stunning colours and exclusive design make this photo print an eye-catcher that effortlessly holds your attention. Whether you hang this piece in the living room, a man cave or a rugged home office, it brings a sense of character, mystique and stylish menace wherever it goes.

Lovers of birds, dark symbolism or a gangster vibe will find a piece here that lingers in the mind. This raven has seen it all and won’t say a word about it.
