Albert Malte Wagner (16 November 1886 in Hamburg, Germany; 1 February 1962 in London) was a British Germanist and literary historian of German-Jewish descent. Albert Malte Wagner, born in Hamburg, studied at the universities of Freiburg, Berlin and Munich after completing his studies, before obtaining his doctorate as Dr. phil. In 1924 he moved to Nuremberg and became editor-in-chief of the Nürnberger Nachrichten.
