Porsche Carrera by Photo Wall Decoration

Evening shot of a Porsche Carrera, taken in downtown Montreal.

I was out and about in downtown Montréal that evening. The city was still busy, but there was a striking calm in this spot. This Porsche was parked along the pavement, sleek in the light of the street lights. The tail lights were off, but the reflection of the red in the bodywork remained visible-subtle, but powerful.

For the editing, I opted for a monochrome style, in which only the red was retained. The rest of the image was reduced to black and white, so that the lines and shapes of the car stand out even more. The red draws attention, without being overpowering-a detail that gives the image that little bit extra.

At home, I worked on the shot further. As always, I take my time with this: sharpening contrasts, isolating colors, and making sure the image is just as I saw it there.

The result is a powerful cityscape with a minimalist look. A Porsche in Montreal, caught in the stillness of the night, with only red as an accent.
